(Georg)
I woke up to the sound of someone knocking on the window. It was light at first, then got louder and harder.
I glanced at Abigail before slipping out of the bed and walking over to the window. I moved the curtain to the side to see Cassie and Ernie perched on the windowsill with their wings out. Ernie's wings were dragon-like, like mine, only his were a really dark, burgundy color and not as big. He must have been a pure vampire.
I sighed as I opened the window. “What do you want?” I asked in a quiet whisper.
“I know who you are,” Cassie said, silently stepping into the room. “You're Georg Listing, the bassist of Tokio Hotel. I'm a huge fan, and I can't believe I didn't recognize you before. Must have been the lack of blood from last night.”
“Yeah, me either,” Ernie agreed, also coming into the room. “I'm not really a fan, but I know who you are. The singer and guitarist—what are their names?—Bill and Tom? Kaulitz? They died a couple weeks ago, didn't they?”
“Yes,” I replied sadly. I was sort of pretending, because they didn't really die. “I'm trying to forget about it.”
Cassie leaned to the side and looked at Abigail, who was still sleeping. “Who's that?” she asked curiously.
“Abigail, my wife,” I said, getting defensive.
“Whoa, you're married? When did that happen? Why didn't I hear about it?”
     “Because we never announced it.”
     “Why not?”
“We had other things to worry about besides publicity.”
“That's sweet,” Ernie commented. “Do you love her?”
     “Of course! More than anything!”
     He smiled.
“Hey, Georg?” Cassie started nervously. “Can you come with us back to the Vamp House?”
“The Vamp House?” I repeated. “It has a name?”
“Yeah. So, will you come? I think the others will want to meet you, too.”
“I don't know.” I glanced at Abigail. “Fine. Just give me a minute.”
     “Really? Yay!”
“Now, go on, I'll be right there.”

It was a madhouse. Vampires were everywhere, either flying from one side of the room to the other, sitting on the floor drinking something from bowls, or just hanging around, talking to each other. There was so much noise from the flying vampires shouting at each other to watch out and crashing into things. There was a huge chandelier hanging from the center of the ceiling where two or three vampires were perched with their wings out, waiting for an opportunity to fly. Less than half of them had dragon wings, and the others all had feathered wings. I had never so many vampires in place at one time.
The inside of the Vamp House was basically one huge room with a balcony that went around the walls and looked like the place where everyone slept. There were a few doors on the walls that must have led to other rooms in the House. Several vampires sat in between the bars of the railing on the balcony with their legs hanging down high above the floor.
There was another thing I noticed about the vampires. They were all very young, their ages ranging from about twelve to nineteen, and most of them were girls. They were all wearing surprisingly nice clothing, and some even had colored highlights in their hair.
“Hey, are you Georg Listing?” came a voice to my right. I turned to a girl of about fifteen, with long brown hair and brown eyes. She wore a lot of black and bright neon colors.
“Yes!” Cassie said excitedly. “It's Georg! Can you believe it? He's the guy I almost bit last night.”
“Really?” the girl said slowly with wide eyes. “You almost. . .bit. . .Georg. . .Listing?”
     Cassie nodded.
“Oh, my gosh!” she squealed, staring at me in fascination.
“What are you two so excited about?” Ernie asked. “Is he that good of a bassist?”
“Uh—yes—yeah—um, I dunno,” the girl said, still staring at me. She was starting to freak me out a little.
For the next hour or so, Cassie, Ernie, and the other girl, who's name I found out was Fer, gave me a tour of the Vamp House, introducing me to the other vampires the whole way. I met some nice people, some crazy people, some mean people, some normal people, some fanatic people who wanted to do unspeakable things to me, some people who had no idea who I was, and maybe one or two people who hated me and Tokio Hotel. Of the thirty or so people in the House, about ten were boys. I wondered why that was.
“Where are we going now?” I asked Ernie, who was the closest to me at the moment. We were going down a hallway somewhere deeper in the House, one that we had gone down before.
“The kitchen,” he replied. “The last room in the Vamp House that you haven't seen. After you see this room, I'm sure these crazy girls will let you go.”
     “Good.”
“Georg,” Cassie said, gesturing to an eighteen-year-old girl with long, brown, red-highlighted hair and brown eyes. “This is Sarah.”
I said hello and shook her hand, then went further down the hallway to meet Mel, a girl with brown hair and blue eyes, Harley, a girl with short blond hair and blue eyes, Emily, a girl with long brown hair and dark brown eyes, Erica, a pale girl with long hair, McKayla, a girl with brown hair and brown eyes, Maria, a girl with short black hair and steel blue eyes, Athina, a girl with long brown hair and brown eyes, and Hannah, a girl with light hair and glasses. I remember these girls in particular because they all loved Tokio Hotel. Hannah actually screamed when she saw me.
“So, this is the kitchen,” Cassie said, opening a door at the end of the hallway.
The kitchen was a decent size and much better kept than the rest of the House. It looked like your normal, everyday kitchen.
I froze after taking one step into the room. There was only one person in the kitchen besides Cassie, Fer, Ernie, and me, and that person was possibly the last person I expected to see there.
     Anna Lucia.
“Anna Lucia?” I said in confusion. “What are you doing here?”
“What are YOU doing here?” she asked, equally confused. “Shouldn't you be at home, taking care of your pregnant wife?”
“Pregnant?” Ernie cried. “My, Georg, you've been busy.”
“Shut it,” I said to him, then turned back to Anna Lucia. “What are you doing here?”
“I. . .I live here,” was her answer.
     “You live here? Since when?”
     “Since four years ago.”
“Four years? You live in a house of vampires, and you're a vampire slayer at the same time?”
     “Not really.”
“What do you mean by that?”
Anna Lucia turned to the kids, who were still in the doorway. “Get out of here, you three. Go on.”
Cassie, Fer, and Ernie quickly left the room, closing the door behind them.
“I mean, I'm not really a vampire slayer,” Anna Lucia continued with a defeated sigh. She reached into her pants pocket and pulled out a wallet. Opening it, she showed me what was inside. A badge, with FBI across the top in big letters.
     “You. . .you're a cop?” I asked in shock.
“I'm an undercover FBI agent. I was investigating the slayers. They're not really helped by the government, just the governor of New York. A lot of people in the government actually don't even know about them, and that's hard to do. The slayers have been smuggling illegal drugs, weapons, you name it. On top of that, they're murderers and torturers. If their own records are correct, they have killed over two hundred people in the past fifty years. They're a huge threat to our country and its people. I still haven't managed to destroy them. I had been working undercover there for almost a whole freakin' year. I hated it. I did everything I could to avoid having to kill anyone. Fortunately, I never had to. I was lucky to get out of there alive. You, Georg? You and the other guys, you were my ticket to freedom. If Gustav had never bitten me, I probably would have never gotten the guts to escape. So, I guess I'm trying to say. . .thank you. Thank you for helping me out of there. You helped me help you.”
I was sort of taken aback. This was a lot to take in.
“So,” Anna Lucia continued, “what ARE you doing here?”
“The kids wanted me to come,” I answered slowly. “They wanted the others to meet me.”
“Oh, right, you're a famous musician. I was really shocked when I found out Morrison had captured you guys. I like Tokio Hotel.”
     “Really?”
“Yeah. Your music ain't half bad. You're like, the band of the House. Almost everyone here likes your music. But, uh. . .some of them hate you.”
“Yeah, I know. I met them a little while ago.”
“That must have been fun,” Anna Lucia said sarcastically.
“Yup,” I agreed. “Well, I think I'll go back to the hotel, now. You're right. I do have a pregnant wife to take care of. Good-bye.”
     “Bye.”
